The Company

In India, Cargill’s operations started in 1987. It has businesses in refined oils, food ingredients, grain and oilseeds, cotton, animal nutrition, industrial specialties and trade structured finance. Cargill food’s business in India markets leading consumer brands of edible oils such as NatureFresh, Gemini, Sweekar, Leonardo Olive Oil, Rath and Sunflower brand of hydrogenated fats. It also markets wheat flour under the NatureFresh brand name. The Animal Nutrition business of Cargill provides animal feed and premix and nutrition for aqua, dairy and poultry. It markets animal feed and premix under the brands such as Provimi, Purina, Citura and Cargill. The Grains and Oilseed crush business originates grains and oilseeds at 200 storage locations. It employs more than 3,500 employees working across offices and plants and a network of warehouses and depots.

Product Information

NatureFresh flour is made from the finest quality wheat grains, sourced from the best farms of the country. It is available in two variants – Sampoorna Chakki Atta and Sampoorna Sharbati Atta. NatureFresh prides itself on its selection of high quality, natural ingredients that are processed in the right way, to produce atta with just the right texture – neither too fine, nor too coarse. This ensures that the rotis turn out to be softer and fluffier.

High bran content ensures that the atta retains natural dietary fibers that make rotis easy to digest and provides optimum nutrition to the consumer. NatureFresh Atta contains 100% wheat and does not contain any Maida (bleached flour) at all. The Sampoorna Sharbati variant is a more premium offering made from the finest quality wheat grains, grown in the Madhya Pradesh region

Cargill has an experience of more than 150 years of wheat selection and processing internationally, which it uses to bring out the best quality flour for NatureFresh. Unlike most packaged atta, NatureFresh optimizes the bran level in Atta to ensure that the consumers get the same taste as their favorite 'Chakki Atta'.
