Beemster is proud to make part of the rich history of the Beemster polder. This beautiful region was created centuries ago by human hands. Now it is the nourishing ground for the rich grass where our cows give the best milk from the Netherlands.

Product Information

It has 4 different cheese to choose from:

1. Beemster Mild Dutch Gouda Cheese(1 month): A young, creamy, and as its name suggests, mild in flavour. It’s an excellent showcase for the rich sweetness of Beemster milk. The soft texture makes this an excellent melting cheese, perfect for grilled cheese sandwiches. It's also fantastic for snacking, cubed alongside carrot sticks and apple slices.
2. Beemster Medium Dutch Gouda Cheese(4 months): The most flavorful when served at room temperature. The unique creamy texture makes Beemster Medium the most tasteful complement to your daily lunch, or as an appetizer. Try Beemster Medium with pears, mixed nuts and cherry tomatoes. A perfect marriage with both red or white wines and dark beers.
3. Beemster Royaal Grand Cru Dutch Gouda Cheese(12 months):A full-bodied and intensely flavoured cheese with maturation crystals in full development. This cheese has a beautiful combination of aromas and has an exquisite and powerful taste.
4. Beemster Classic Dutch Gouda Cheese(18 months): The signature Dutch cheese throughout the Netherlands, with its deep flavours developed through natural ageing for over 18 months in historic cheese warehouses. As an aged cheese, tyrosine crystals (amino acids) can be tasted subtly. It is a sign of excellence to have these evenly distributed throughout the body of the cheese. Its firmness allows it to be served at room temperature for hours without losing its beautiful golden appearance. This makes it a perfect cheese for a cheese platter in combination with a soft-ripened, blue and other more flavourful cheese varieties.
